National Home Security Month This Coming October

Many of you may not be aware, that this coming October is National Home Security Month (NHSM).
This has been specially designed to create awareness around the growing importance of home security and encourage homeowners to beef up their security for winter.

Each week in October has a different security based focus, including Securing Doors And Windows, Protecting Valuables, Outdoor Security, and finally Future Home Security.

Did you know that statistics show that there is a 20% increase in burglaries during the darker months. This means that as the clocks go back, criminal activity increases.
